Daegu Literature Museum, "Hyangchon-cultural museum"

 

#HYANGCHON_CULTURAL_CENTER

 

Hyangchon Culture Center was opened on October 30, 2014 by renovating the former Daegu branch of Korea Commercial Bank to revitalize the local economy.

It is a special cultural space that recreates the scenes of members of Hyangchon-dong, which was the spiritual home of cultural artists during the 1950s.

You can enjoy them on the 1st and 2nd floor of the building.

In addition, in the basement of the building, there is the oldest classical music listening room 'Nok-hyang', which opened in 1946 and you can still enjoy music there!

 

Ticket : adults 1,000won, adolescent 500won, children free

Time : summer season(April ~ October) : 9 a.m. ~ 7 p.m.

         winter season(November ~ March) : 9 a.m. ~ 6 p.m.

Closed day : every Monday and January 1st

#DAEGU_LITERATURE_MUSEUM

 

Daegu Literature Center is a collection of literature materials from the 1920s to the 1960s in Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province.

It is also a cultural space that holds various educational programs and literary events.

It is on 3rd and 4th floor fo the building.

 

Entrance fee : free

Time : summer season(April ~ October) : 9 a.m. ~ 7 p.m.

         winter season(November ~ March) : 9 a.m. ~ 6 p.m.

Closed day : every Monday, January 1st, Seollal(Korean New Year's Day) and Chuseok(Korean Thanksgiving Day)
